01/26 – Matthew 4:12-25 – Imagine An Eternal Embrace of Love

Today is Life Sunday. The day set aside by the Christian Church to celebrate the gift of life given to us by our loving heavenly Father. Though many great and wonderful gifts come to us, and people of many other lands, because of this great nation, and the society and culture in which we live, there are some aspects of our culture that need to change. One is our view of life. Both the lives of the youngest and the oldest among us are, by too many, deemed of no value. The Bible teaches us that we are precious is God’s eyes already at our conception, and He has numbered all our days. He has a plan and purpose for us, and we as Christians should respect and honor His will for our lives and the lives around us. Today let us all join in praying for those who are all too often forgotten. Let us also pray for our nation and people that all would turn to see the truths and promises found in God’s Word.
